Le Champ des Lunes - Rosé 2009 - Wine

These wines come from a "sister" property of the Abbaye, in Cucuron (Vaucluse), a village equally steeped in history. Located on an unusual estate called "Grand Luberon", the vineyard enjoys an interesting location on a superbly exposed outcrop. Constructed around grenache and a splash of syrah, this rosé is voluptuous and round with notes of fresh red fruit such as raspberry. It has a very deep and round finish, with a particularly voluptuous personality characteristic of grenache.

Wine production

Light maceration to extract the colour and fermenting of the juices under temperature control (15/16°C). Slight fining, then clarifying by natural sedimentation.

Pale raspberry colour, with some silvery reflection. Elegant and powerful nose with aromas of citrus and candy. Round, expressive and delicate on the palate, this rosé wine has a very large aromatic density. A final fullness and harmonious in the mouth.

Ideal complements

As an aperitif or to accompany fine summer dishes: Provençal barigoule artichokes or grilled white fish.
